Check your blood pressure
The only way of knowing whether you have high blood pressure is to have a blood pressure test.
All adults over 40 are advised to have their blood pressure checked at least every 5 years. Getting this done is easy and could save your life.
You can get your blood pressure tested at a number of places, including at our pharmacies. If you've not been diagnosed with high blood pressure and would like to get yours checked, contact or visit one of our branches.
If we find any potential signs of high blood pressure, we will refer you to your GP for further investigation and treatment if appropriate.
Diabetes Testing
Got children below the age of 4? Come in-store every 3 months and collect a pack of healthy-start vitamins to give them the right boost they need.
We can provide medication use reviews to ensure that your healthcare is optimised and if believe we can improve your compliance or help with resolving unwanted side effects, we can make the necessary interventions.
We can blister pack medication for free into weekly trays if we feel it will help to improve patient compliance.
We provide both NHS & private flu vaccines from early September through to January each year. This year alone we vaccinated over 200 patients, make sure you contact us early to book an appointment.
We provide a FREE service to discard of old, used needles and can provide packs of 1ml & 2ml syringes.
When a new high risk medication is started we provide a service in which we will call the client 7 and 21 days after initiation to ensure there is no problems or unnecessary side effects.
With the rules and guidelines regarding passport photos constantly changing, you need a reliable photo printing service that can be flexible and continuously adapt. Here at JP Pharmacy we are Passport photo and Photo ID specialists, and we give our guarantee of a professional service.
As well as Passport photos, we take ID Photos for proof of age, student cards, driving licences etc. Our service is offered to both adults and children of any age.
Our ID and Passport photos are taken and printed while you wait. You can preview your photo before it is printed so you are 100% satisfied.
For a small fee we will be happy to do an accurate pregnancy test for you.
We provide a 12 week smoking cessation course to help you stub the fag for good. As part of the programme we provide all the nicotine replacement therapy & champix you will need.
